In short: within 14 days of your purchase, ask and you are refunded in full, through Polar. The licence then ends and your access to the repository is removed.
1. The 14 days
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of the date on your receipt, without having to give a reason. A short note on what did not work for you is welcome, and helps improve the template, but it is not a condition.
This refund is offered on top of your legal rights; it does not replace them. In particular, if the template does not match its description, the conformity clause of the Terms of Sale applies after the 14 days too.
2. How to ask
- Write to support@blouppy.com from the address used for the purchase, with your order number or receipt, or
- use the refund request of Polar's customer portal, if it offers one for your order.
3. How the refund is made
Polar, as reseller and merchant of record, issues the refund to the payment method used for the purchase, taxes included. It usually reaches your account within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. We confirm the request by email within 3 business days.
4. What a refund ends
- The licence ends on the date of the refund.
- Your GitHub account's access to the private repository is removed.
- You must delete the copies of the template you made — clones, forks and code built from it — as the licence no longer covers them.
5. Limits
- After 14 days, a licence is not refundable, except where the law or the Terms of Sale provide otherwise.
- One refund per buyer: a buyer who has already been refunded and buys again cannot be refunded a second time.
- A refund may be refused where the request is abusive or fraudulent, for example when the template has been redistributed. This never limits your legal rights.
- A payment reversed through your bank (chargeback) ends the licence in the same way as a refund.
