1. Who sells, who makes
These terms apply to every purchase of a Blouppy Starter licence on starter.blouppy.com.
- The reseller. Licences are sold by Polar Software, Inc. (“Polar”), acting as reseller and merchant of record. Polar takes the payment, charges the taxes due, issues the receipt and invoice, and processes refunds. Polar's own buyer terms apply to the payment, alongside these terms.
- The publisher. The template is made, updated and supported by Jimmy Boinembalome, entrepreneur individuel (micro-entreprise) trading as Blouppy, SIREN 994 480 879, 3 rue de Patay, 45000 Orléans, France (“Blouppy”, “we”). Full details are in the Legal Notice.
- The buyer. The company, organization or person named on the receipt (“you”, the “Licensee”). The product is meant for professionals; where you buy as a consumer, the mandatory protections of consumer law apply in full.
By completing a purchase, you accept these terms, the License and the Refund Policy.
2. The product
Blouppy Starter is the source code of a SaaS template built on .NET 10 and Angular 22, described on the home page: its 12 modules, its architecture, its stack, what it includes and what it does not. It is source code to build your own product on, not a hosted service: hosting, third-party accounts (Stripe, SMTP, identity providers, model providers) and their costs are yours.
Before buying, check the prerequisites (the .NET 10 SDK, Docker, Node 24 and a GitHub account) and the list of what is not included, both on the home page.
3. Price and payment
- The price is shown on the site and at checkout: €99 for each of the first 50 licences sold, then €149. The price that applies is the one shown at checkout when you pay.
- It is a one-time payment for one licence. There is no subscription and no renewal.
- Taxes (VAT or sales tax) are calculated by Polar according to your location and status, and shown before you pay. [TO VERIFY: Polar product price display — whether the displayed prices include VAT or VAT is added at checkout]
- Payment is made to Polar, by the means Polar offers at checkout.
4. Delivery
The product is delivered digitally, as access to the private GitHub repository that holds the source: [TO VERIFY: Polar benefit flow — the exact steps, to be checked on a test purchase]
- After payment, Polar emails you your receipt and a link to its customer portal.
- In the portal, you connect the GitHub account that should receive access.
- GitHub sends that account an invitation to the private repository, with read access. Accept it, then clone the repository into your own private repository.
Delivery is automatic and normally takes a few minutes; the invitation is sent within 24 hours at the latest. If you have no invitation within 24 hours, write to support@blouppy.com. A GitHub account is needed; GitHub's own terms apply to its use.
5. Licence
You buy a licence to use the source code, not the intellectual property in it, which stays with Blouppy. What you may and may not do is set out in the License; in short, everyone in your organization may build any number of products with it, for you or your clients, but you may not resell, publish or redistribute the template itself.
Repository access is for the people of your organization. Do not share it outside your organization.
6. Updates
Your licence includes every update published for the version you bought — fixes, dependency upgrades and improvements — in the same repository, with no commitment on how long a version is maintained or how often it is updated. You decide when to merge them into your copy. A new major version may be sold separately; buying it is never required to keep using the version you have.
We do not commit to a schedule of updates or to specific features.
7. Support
Support is given by email at support@blouppy.com and on the private repository (Issues for bugs, Discussions for questions), in English or French. It covers installing and running the template and the bugs in it. It does not cover the code of your own product, your hosting, or third-party services. We aim to reply within one week; this is a goal, not a guaranteed response time.
8. Right of withdrawal and refunds
The product is digital content supplied immediately. If you buy as a consumer in the European Union, you ask at checkout for the content to be supplied right away and acknowledge that you then lose your statutory right of withdrawal, as the law permits for digital content not supplied on a physical medium. [TO VERIFY: Polar checkout consent — that Polar's checkout collects this request and acknowledgement]
Whatever your status, we offer a voluntary refund within 14 days of the purchase, on the conditions of the Refund Policy. A refund ends the licence and removes access to the repository.
9. Conformity and liability
We make sure the template matches its description on the site when you buy it. If it does not, write to us: we will fix it, or, if we cannot within a reasonable time, refund you. If you are a consumer, this does not affect the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content under French and EU law.
The template is provided as is, as stated in the License. You are responsible for the products you build with it, for how you configure, deploy and operate them, and for their compliance with the law that applies to them (including data protection and payments).
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a licence is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect damage such as lost profit, lost data or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. End of access
Access to the repository ends, and the licence with it, if you are refunded, if the payment is reversed (chargeback), or if the terms of the License are broken. In the last case, the Software must be deleted, except inside products already delivered, as the License provides.
11. Personal data
How the data of a purchase is used, by Polar and by us, is described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to a purchase is the one published on the day of that purchase.
13. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live, if you are a consumer.
Before any claim, write to support@blouppy.com: most problems are settled this way. If you are a consumer and the dispute is not settled, you may refer it free of charge to the consumer mediator: [TO FILL: name, address and website of the consumer mediator Blouppy has joined]. Disputes between professionals are brought before the courts of Orléans, France; a consumer may bring a claim before the courts of their place of residence.
